What a bird! Good Lord, when I see one of those I'll "flip out" and never stop! I've never seen a pileated w. although I keep looking...

those buggers seem to dig Mississauga.

I've usually had pretty good luck sighting them at Maplewood Park, Erindale Park, Riverwood and Rattray Marsh - Yes, all out here in Mississauga.  :D

Sometime we let them out of the 905, but they need to get back before anyone sees them!
Good catch moira, I love these guys, and they love Mississauga.
