My husband and I went to Saddington Park today for a guided bird outing. There wasn't much there, but met some really nice people!
We headed to Bayfront Park next, where we found a King Eider, I believe it was the same Eider we saw at LaSalle on Sunday.
After Bayfront we headed to LaSalle, there are some Canvasbacks there (I didn't see, another birder let me know), all the regulars are there to, but I did get to see a Carolina Wren. Couldn't get a pic of the little bugger but it was fun trying!

This walk was head by Luc Fazio, and was a total delight for me and my wife ( total newbies to birding )

Greater Scaups - many off in the distance - Luc identified them for us - we couldnt see them well with our "regular" binos
Long Tailed Ducks - many
American Black Ducks - 2
Common Merganser - 2
Red Breasted Merganser - 2
Bufflehead
Common Goldeneye
Gadwall -  a pair
Mallard Ducks - many male and female
Ring Billed Gull

Great Black Backed Gull - Luc said this was a 4th winter - non breeding male

Mute Swans (off in the distance)
Geese - many
Goldfinches -a few
one junco
House Sparrows - many

And the finale...

Red Tailed Hawk - being harassed by a crow, then turned attack on the crow !
********************************************************

After Port Credit my wife and I went to Marie Curtis Park -

Mallards - many
Long Tail Duck - a few
Gulls - many

Hooded Merganser - 1
