I thought my sharp eyes had spotted a Great horned owl in the woods...
Turns out it was just a broken branch that looked like owl ears!
That's about all that was going on today in the woods anyway, not much action.

Is that at the Spit? A branch over there that looked almost identical to yours got me a couple weeks ago. :lol:

No, this is in a conservation woodlot just north of Leamington. I have seen a pair of Great Horned owls here the last two years. This one was just a decoy!

I found a wood Wild Turkey in Bronte Creek a few winters ago.  I took a few shots in excitement.  Angie still laughs about it to this day.   :oops:
