Quite a good walk in beautiful weather in erindale park this morning.

1 red-tailed and 1 cooper's hawk
1 kingfisher
1 red-bellied woodpecker
about 75 robins and 40 starlings. I believe these are new migrants because:
a) The starlings were imitating killdeer and blackbirds, which they shouldn't have heard recently if they were local.
b)This is more of both species than I have seen here this winter (although I haven't been since January)
c) They were feeding on the lawns like the new arrivals usually do rather than on berries.
My first landbird migrants for the year besides larks and snow buntings.

The best and longest views of coyote I've ever had, as I flushed it and it's only way away was across the partially frozen marsh which prevented it from moving very fast, in view for about 30-45 seconds.
