I don't normally think of visiting the website for the TTPBRS during their off season, but when I stumbled on it recently I read the news that Brett Tryon is leaving her position as the station's Banding Coordinator. I never knew Brett by name, but seeing her photo on the website now I realize that she is the always friendly, always helpful, smiling face I see when I stop by the station. Whenever I had my children with me, she would invite them into the small hut and patiently explain her delicate task of examining and banding tiny songbirds. Thank you Brett! You will most certainly be missed.
