Felicitations, birdfriends...
I had a wonderful time at Col. Sam the other day, and was especially delighted to get a few (relatively) in-the-open shots of the famous flittering twirlybird known as the g. c. kinglet! Anyhow, I hope you'll enjoy these snapshots from our own hot spot in the west end of T.O.

Thanks so much, Thomas and Richard, it's appreciated. So glad the little kinglets are back...yellow-rumped warblers too...I forgot to add our butcherbird friend. I ran into him also on that fine day. Col Sam Smith is the Ashbridges Bay of the west end! Richard, I remember your fine scarlet tanager pictures from last year. Getting that close to such a lovely bird would delight me to the point of lunacy!

A birth certificate shows we were born.  A death certificate shows we died.  Pictures show we live.

Many thanks, folks. Kinglets are a fun and frustrating photographic challenge, that's for sure. Anyhow, I appreciate your comments very much!
