Today at High Park, I saw a Purple Finch.
Other sightings include pied-billed grebe,tree swallow and northern shoveler.

...where was the grebe? ... in the northerly portion of the pond?    Any sighting of the Virginia Rail at all?   Thanks for the info. about the grebe!

The grebe was in the beginning of the southern part of the pond.
No sightings of the rail.
