Rather slow in the park today, although 9 warbler species were seen.
As usual the best place for birds was in the western end of the dog play ground (the bowl), although a few of the warblers were also seen in the north-eastern corner of the park, in three massive trees next to the baseball field.
It gets rather busy in the park after 8am, when dog owners, joggers, and park personnel start to make birding more difficult, however, warblers are usually less active in the very early morning. Seems like an optimal time for birding in the park is 7-8am.
