As others have already noted, lots of interesting waterfowl. Noted several Wood Ducks, White-winged Scoters and some Wigeons, and trumpeter swans, along with the Canvasbacks, Redheads, Scaups, Buffleheads, all the Mergansers, Horned and Red-throated grebes, Gadwalls, long-tails. But my favourite part of the lovely walk was spotting a Merlin that stayed perched at the top of the tree as I walked by so that I could get a good look at him.
