As others have already noted, lots of interesting waterfowl. Noted several Wood Ducks, White-winged Scoters and some Wigeons, and trumpeter swans, along with the Canvasbacks, Redheads, Scaups, Buffleheads, all the Mergansers, Horned and Red-throated grebes, Gadwalls, long-tails. But my favourite part of the lovely walk was spotting a Merlin that stayed perched at the top of the tree as I walked by so that I could get a good look at him.

did you see the King Eider on the sunday? was it still in cell 3?

yes, he was still there this morning but hard to get a good picture of him, he is getting very timid with the number of people after him and keeps to the middle of cell area. He tends to be near the start of the 3rd cell( most north/east corner) in early morning and you would have the best chance to photo him
