Hi everyone. I was walking around Maplewood Park today from 11:30am - 12:30pm. Very exciting sightings!

Brown Thrasher x 1. Wow, my first time sighting one at this park!
Cooper's Hawks x 4 adults (2m, 2f)! NW corner: female sitting quietly in nest, male nearby eating "something". At same time at South edge of woods, a female hawk pigging out on something and male hawk perched on nearby tree branch making a racket!
Yellow-rumped Warbler x 1 ... based on field guides and Google Images, this was an adult male "Audubon's" form - gorgeous bright yellow cap, throat, side patch and rump. I could tell right away this was NOT a "Myrtle" form!
Other sightings: Blue Jays, Cardinal x 1 (male), House Sparrows and Robins. Butterflies: Red Admiral and Cabbage White. Also sighted a baby bunny Cottontail Rabbit. So cute!
Maplewood Park: East side of Glen Erin Dr., just North of Aquitaine Ave.
