My wife and I spent most of yesterday sniffing around the Balm Beach area along Tiny Beach rd, North of Wasaga beach..
While fumbling around trying to get back to Tiny beach rd. we ended up on the 15th Concession and spotted what what appeared to be a pair of Bobolink's
at first I thought yellow headed black bird but changed my mind when I got home and had a look at the guide..(was a quasi bird trip)
I also spotted small, slim, deep blackish blue bird perched on a wire. I don't think it was a bluebird. I turned the car around and went back reached for the
bins and it was gone. The area is heavily forested with very tall oak trees and farmland to the West.. Is Beautiful.
Napper..
Looking for a retreat.
