I was hearing a noise that I thought was a flycatcher. I've been hearing it for an hour.
Then, my wife and i saw the black throated blue warbler land on our telephone wire in our back yard for 5 seconds and disappear.
Its been hanging around a few houses down (I can hear it and not see it).
2 days ago, i saw a yellow warbler a few houses down. i think this is the first year that i've seen warblers in our area.
