Some nice variety at Humber Bay today, high-lights for me was my FOY Wilson's Warbler. A female Northern Pintail was also a nice surprise.

Great sightings, I will add:

King Fisher (2)
Great Blue Heron (2)
Green Heron (1)
Juvi Night Heron (1)
Thompson's Hawk (2) - I heard someone else who saw it say it was a Thomson's, my guess would have been a Cooper's Hawk.  I did take some pictures of it.
and up to 8 Great Egrets!

Good catch on the Northern Pintail, I saw it as well.

Have never heard of a Thompson's Hawk. Cooper's sounds more likely...

Enjoyed a visit on Friday. Still a number of shorebirds on the mudflats (before a Peregrine chased them away) and the winter ducks are increasing in number, but no sign of the Pintail:

Gadwall 30
Green-winged Teal 8
American Wigeon 6
Northern Shoveler 5
Common Goldeneye 4

Also a nice assortment of warblers, White-throated Sparrows, a family of 4 Mockingbirds, and a Brown Thrasher.
