Oshawa ethanol plant - please read

The Oshawa Port Authority will be holding a public information meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 25 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Quality Hotel and Conference Centre, located at 1011 Bloor Street East in Oshawa, just east of Harmony Road.

The purpose of the meeting is to learn about the Oshawa Port Authority’s mandate and FarmTech’s ethanol refinery which is to be located at the Port of Oshawa, adjacent to the Waterfront Trail, Lakeview Park and the Second Marsh.

I can't see there being a lot of good coming out of this plant's construction. I'm also assuming that it will stink.

If this plant is to be similar to the one in Chatham, which you can see from the 401 as you drive by Chatham, pouring out the white "smoke" , your comments are indeed valid.
