Sitting out front this afternoon enjoying the warmth
there is at least one Pine Siskin in the tree across the street.

Very distinctive sound. :?:

1 hour later 3 groups of red winged blackbirds heading west the largest being the last close to 70 birds in the flight the first two 10 in each group.

I've had one lonely Pine Siskin to my nyjer feeders the past 2 days.  Thursday he would not get off that feeder for anything, well almost anything...  I did not bother him at all, but the Sharpie attack sent him scattering.  But he returned today.  And so did the Sharpie!
