First saw-whet owl of this season. It had its (headless) lunch in its tallons. guessing it was a mouse?Boy!.. thanks, everyone, for the kind words. i was just happy to finally see one this fall.i spent 5 minutes of zen watching him, then moved on.

I than went to another area and came upon a 2nd barred all by itself ...just me and the owl... a real soul searching event Imagine the winter is just starting...seems to me there are alot more than other years...maybe a great winter for Jan -Feb
