Hi everyone. I was wandering around Maplewood Park today from 11:30am-1:00pm and sighted the following:
Cardinal x 1 (male)
Chickadees x 12
Hairy Woodpeckers x 2 (males)
House Sparrows - dozens
Juncos x 10
Red-breasted Nuthatches x 8
White-breasted Nuthatch x 1
Lots of squirrels.
Woods went quiet as a small hawk flew from the NE edge of woods, possibly Sharp-shinned.
Maplewood Park: East side of Glen Erin Dr., just North of Aquitaine Ave.
