Hi everyone.  Tonight on The Weather Network, a quick mention and video of a Black Swan in Scarborough.  Anyone know whereabouts?  Appears to be Lake Ontario.

It had been seen at Bluffers Park and on Sunday a friend saw one(likely 99% same one) out near Liverpool Rd much further east. Clearly an escapee.

That was my picture/video and story I spotted and photographed the Swan at Frenchman's Bay at the tip of the western inlet where it seems to hang regularly. Problem being the site has been converted to a construction site and now off limits for the next 2 years as they extend the breakwall.

It is with a heavy heart that I report that the Black Swan is dead. I spoke with a neighbor who fishes at Frernchman's Bay and he told me that last wednesday Jan 16th he saw the Swan dead on the shore.
