Today was a nice crisp day and it brought in the Trumpeter Swans in good numbers 21 were counted and 5 Mute Swans with lots of running battles to see. Betty the Leucistic Swan was also present. About half dozen Buffleheads, 75-100 Mallards and about the same number of Canada Geese. Also the Belted Kingfisher continues to hunt dispite the presence of ice in the protected bay area. On the way out and on the side of Brimley road noted the large adult Red-tailed Hawk watching the grassy fields on each side of the road from high atop a tree .

I was there about the same time but only saw a tall lanky gentleman with a camera leaving.
