Excellent photo, nice capture.

What's the Trumpeter situation there this winter, are there many there?

Happy birding

As usual there a bunch of Trumpeter and Mute swans at Lasalle Park.
There were also some Goldeneye, Red-headed ducks, Mallards, Cootes, Scaup and Mergansers.

Went to see the Wood duck this afternoon.  He is a beautiful specimen.  Tnx for the "hot tip".  Also saw the Eastern Screech Owl there - my FOL for this type- they are so cute!! I  Also many many Coots, what cute little guys.  And of course, the 200 some odd Trumpeters,  what a display!  It was a good afternoon!

Good birding,

Awesome picture of an amazing looking bird.  Thanks for sharing.  I've been trying to get a picture of the Wood Duck but they're quite far away from where I am...would involve some driving.

In April, you can find wood ducks in pretty much any wooded pond in Southern Ontario
