American tree Sparrow Halls Road

Went for a quick visit & fix ahead of bringing my 3 yr nephew next week to try and enjoy hand feeding the birds. Still love the variety this location offers and the few surprises that come along. On this trip though tried to concentrate on getting a decent picture pose from the American Tree Sparrow. All in all good trip had Blue Jays, Chickadees, American Tree Sparrow, White Breasted Nuthatch, Downy Woodpecker all come to my hand to feed on the seeds and peanuts
Wind blowing from rear fluffed up head feathers

I really like the first and the last ones. Great details, colour, bokeh and composition. Cheers

Nice pics. I was there yesterday in the early afternoon and the Barred Owl showed up for a photo shoot. Landed in a tree just off the main trail on a branch about 8 feet up and just sat there for quite a while.
