Started my Day at Thickson Woods only spotted the Great Horned Owl could not locate the Northern Saw Whet, but from what I heard from a couple on the trail who explained some students from Durham College actually plucked it from its perch and held it while they took photo's might be enough for it to say the hell with this place I 'm Leaving. Then drove down the road to Halls took some photo's of  the customary Barred owl, some Cedar waxwings, American Tree Sparrows. The Marsh area is starting show alot of open water and the ice is melting fast and noted several Mute Swans, the ususal Mallards, Canada Geese, some Gadwells, Longtails, Buffleheads.

Those sparrow pictures are great, he must be hanging around with the horned larks too much.
