Swung by Downsview yesterday and spotted many different blackbirds including RWBB, Grackles, Starlings and Brown Headed Cowbirds. A couple of Killdeer also flew with this flock of about 100 blackbirds. In the pond I spotted 5 Ring-Necked Ducks, 1 Northern Shoveler and 2 Green-Winged Teal as well as a few Mallards and Canada Geese (as usual). Near the woods I spotted a bunch of smaller song-birds including the Song Sparrow, Tree Sparrow, Junco and possibly a few others. Someone reported the Fox Sparrow there but I did not see it.
