A quick trip to the local park after work found this year's Screech owl family, I have seen Screech owls in this park for the last 3 years in a row and last year's family was made up of 4 owl-lets. This year, it seems they have only had 2 owl-lets and they are about 1.5 weeks behind from past years time frame....... parental figure was keeping a close watch on me and was very nervous with anyone being around it's young ( from pictures it may look like I was close, but pictures have been cropped abit and were taken with 500mm)......damm tree branches :x  ..but if they weren't there neither would be the birds

parent watching closely
