quiet at first. saw Colin from here. said he saw some B&W warblers.

if you want to see terns (caspian!), this is one of the best parks in the city. they hunt in the outer bay area. great show to watch.

as I was leaving, the warblers came out.

Common yellowthroat
Black throated blue x 2
yellow rumped

chimney swifts x 15

(barn?) swallows
terns
baltimore orioles
goldfinch

I spent 30 disappointing minutes at the Spit (yellow warblers, 1 oriole and 1 grosbeak) so Ashbridges Bay it was!

2 minutes in and i was having better luck than at the Spit.

Chestnut sided
warbling vireo
ovenbird
black and white x 3
yellow rumped
caspian terns
blue-headed vireo
kingfisher
chimney swifts

and............Magnolias, Nashville, Am. Redstart and a possible Canada Warbler.
Gnatcatchers, Hermit Thrush, Least Flycatchers, Bluejays, RC Kinglet, Lincoln's Sparrow - probably the one
I saw last week - same place, and the highlight of the day was a flock of 6 Sandhill Cranes that flew overhead!
