One of the great joys of my life is relaxing on my deck in the summer and birdwatching. Our house backs on to a park, and we see many birds. I have a bird bath and the robins just love it. I saw a robin last evening take 2 extended baths, he/she enjoyed it so much!
I used to have a feeder but I had to take it down due to complaints from the neighbours due to pigeons. I've tried tube feeders and larger 'house' feeders, but the pigeons feed on the spilled seed on the ground.
I'd appreciate advice on pigeon-proofing my feeder/yard. I really miss the bird traffic generated by my feeder. For a few summers, even a mallard duck couple were regular visitors to our yard!
