I saw 2 Muscovy Ducks on Saturday at Toogood Pond in Markham. They appeared to be breeding. Doesn't seem like it's a countable bird in Canada but I do count it on my own personal list. I figure if it's a bird that successfully survives and breeds in the wild, I don't see a reason for exclusion. In the United States, for example, it is a countable bird for birders....at least according to Wikipedia.
Anyway, either way you look at it, it's still an interesting sighting.
