I have a male cardinal that visits my yard and is now blind in one eye. The eye appears to have a black scab covering the entire eye. So far the other eye looks okay. Is there any help out there for this bird?

You could call Toronto Wildlife Centre for some good advice.

A birth certificate shows we were born.  A death certificate shows we died.  Pictures show we live.

Strange coincidence; last Tuesday (May 28) I got a closer than normal look at my male cardinal and he appears to have exactly the same problem. Did you call the Wildlife Center?
