I looked out my back window this morning at 7:15am to see a great blue heron sitting in the top of the largest tree in my backyard. I went out to take some photos of it - it stayed there for a good 15 minutes just sitting there looking around. When I got home tonight from hawk watching to check out my photos the great blue heron went past my computer window again. What a wonderful treat. We live in Guildwood.
