Today while driving in Erieau there was a Horned Grebe sitting right on the road. It seemed kind of shocked and didn't move. Must have blown in from Lake Erie since it was very windy. When I passed by again an hour later it was gone, so hopefully it was able to get back to it's right element.
A couple of days ago I also saw two Sandhill Cranes flying over, a first for me.
