this morning at 6:05 I heard and saw the singing Swainson's Warbler,It could be herd near area # 24 and # 25 in Mount Pleasant Cemetery this area is best entered from the Moore Ave. gate.

the bird sang for 5 mints then flue north deeper in to the cemetery wear I
was not aball to ree find it or hear it . I did fell  that the song was a
little week ? but still spot on for SWWA. I still hope that others will
refined and hopefully photograph this bird for 100% ID.


Mount Pleasant Cemetery is not open until 8:00 am but the walk in gate from
Bayview av . was open this morning

Eleanor  Directions:

Mount Pleasant Cemetery is located in Central Toronto. It is
bounded by Yonge St in the west, Merton St in the north, Bayview Ave in the
East and Moore Ave in the south. Mount Pleasant Rd. cuts through it.

I have reewored my last post do to new info that was sent to me last night ( 05-19-06) that
a Swainsons Warbler was seen well and documented by 2 UK birders on MAY 1 o6 in Mount Pleasant Cemetery !!!


that meens yes the bird was still presant 13 days latter !! wow ..
