    :?:

so the past few weeks on and off about 10pm - 1am even if the doors + all windows are closed tight. The overwhelming stench of skunk cologne jice yuck gross make me ill and yes I puked and got ill ... it got into our home.

I reside predominantly in a man cave 10 feet below ground level, a basement. For the times these events occur as just now....  not as bad .... now .. but last week i hardly made it up to shut windows facing SW, West .. 1am. I have never ever smelt it that bad. EVER.

Can THE SMELL OF SKUNK FARTS  ...    ..... GET THROUGH WALLS?? HOW IN Gods HEAVEN AND HELL AND THEY EXIST HERE AFTER THE HOUSE WAS LITERALLY ClouDED.

anyone?? seriously... this is too much now, and my neighbor has them , some 5 young + fat Mommy under his deck.

Birding takes my mind off stuff and it adds good life to a tuff life. It also helps me forget about my spine pain and stress.  Laugh, eat, be merry.  Anybody with extra $ may send me some as It will permit me to travel.

Bad it is, they really need to have someone come in and remove the whole bunch for a relocation operation.

I once heard that the molecules that create the odour within skunk spray are so small that then can seep through even the spaces between the molecules of the plastic in garbage bags... so I assume that the skunk odour can travel through the tiniest cracks in a wall or window very easily.....

anyways ya I would at least check how old the babies are before moving them... wouldn't want to risk them being traumetized by moving if they are very young and fragile... however if they are walking around then I would say have a wildlife professional move the mother into another place with her babies

i never ever move any young of any species. i did when i was 10, and brought home several species from a snake, squirrel, turtel, etc.. u name it i did it.

i am almost 40 and thanks for your input, we have not seen them but 2 x or so and were walking, small bunny rabbit sized +

they are probably being bullied or startled at night by cats, etc..

as for molecules, yes.       .... all of our windows closed. seal around windows ok. i cannot explain it, it was as if LITERALLY THEY WERE IN SIDE.  :?:  :?:  :?:  :?:
