Beautiful day. Lots of birds of various kinds in the park. Warblers including Magnolia, American Redstart, Palm and Yellow-rump; Hermit Thrush; Kingfisher; Flicker; Gnatcatcher; Pewee; Catbird and dozens of Kinglets, both Ruby-crowned and Golden-crowned.  White-throated Sparrows everywhere. The added bonus - 6 Monarchs !!

another outstanding day to be outdoors! A few more species today to add to the ones from Monday (all still there) - Black-throated Blue male, Nashville and two Black and White Warblers; several Winter Wrens, all sorts of Brown Creepers creeping, and a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. Only 2 Monarchs, but they were both brilliant in their black and orange colours. Such a great little park that is always full of surprises. The kinglets are dripping from the trees.
