Thanks Dinu, Steven.

He let me get pretty close (300mm was almost too long) and ignored me the 5-10 minutes the was standing on the rocks. Then he went off to continue his fishing.

I got pretty close to some of the Herons out in BC, but the ones I have seen in Ontario are usually very shy, that is a great picture.

I have noticed that that the herons at the ponds where people fish are more tolerant to human presence.
