As of Noon the are still 3 immatures Northern Gannets feeding around the mouth of Oshawa Harbour. At least 2 have been present since thurday. I had one of the birds fly right over the pier. Where the flock 1500 Red-breated Mergansers move to feed on Emerald Shiners The Gannets follow them. Look for the gulls, and merganers, the gannets will be nearby.
Oshawa harbour is at the foot of Simcoe st. Take the simcoe street exit from the 401 and follow in down to the lake.
