While on the 9:40 GO train out of Oshawa, I encountered 6 white geese (looking like all Snow geese from the train) feeding with Canada geese in the corn field on the west side of Church st. Ajax. These birds should be settling into the Canada goose flocks in the Whitby harbour- Frenchmans'Bay Pickering area. So any goose flocks in the west Durham region area may contain these birds over the next few weeks, weather permitting.
