Hey all,
As I began the drive down Hall's Rd at about noon today, I saw a large animal on the middle of the road, which at first I thought was a deer. As I got closer, it went eastward into the Farmer's field. It stood there a moment and watched me before sauntering off into the corn rows -- but not before I got a few shots off with my camera. This thing was HUGE!! I couldn't believe how tall it was and it easily weighed as much as 60+ lbs (I have an 85lb standard size golden doodle to compare to!). I showed a guy down the road the photos and he told me he believes it was a coywolf! A hybrid between a coyote and wolf!! I saw only one and it didn't make a sound hit I'm not kidding when I say at a glance I thought it was a deer!! Just something to be aware of when you're out that way! If the photos are decent when I see them on my computer (vs the tiny cam screen where already they are a tiny bit blurry), I'll come back and post! Though most of my shots he or she was crouching so you wouldn't get to admire the height and size).
