Holland marsh Snowies?

Not seeing any reports for snowy owls around Holland Marsh.  It is usually a good place for them.  Keep checking Ontbirds, but nothing recent.  If Monday is nice, might celebrate my birthday by taking a trip out there or head down to Hamilton area.  Decisions, Decisions.

Any help/advice appreciated.

I have been up there a few times and my friend as well, but with very little results, I only found one along canal area, seems the snowies have travelled a little further south and not in high numbers up there..........not sure perhaps the flooding in that area last spring/summer may have effected the types of crops and leftovers which in turn effected the mice/mole populations. The fields also looked very iced over and were completedly covered by that ice storm making for difficult hunting there. In contrast, the Hamilton/ St Catherine area seems to have higher than normal numbers........I would go there
