hi everyone

I was in Toronto for the day on the 24th and decided to brave the weather and visit the shoreline. I walked from the arched bridge at Humber to Sunnyside Beach (I think its called) then the wind chill defeated me.

Highlights were

A) a lovely Northern Shrike beside the path immediately east of the arched bridge near to the stone sign that says shared path. (I think this bird has been around for a while.)
B) a fly past snow bunting
C) a 2nd winter Glaucous Gull that flew past and settled on the lake immediately east of the Humber Park peninsula. There was one at Sunnyside Beach according to ebird on the 19th but I don't think the recorders posted it on this site and they didn't age the or describe the bird so I'm not sure if this is the same individual or not.
D) a Coopers Hawk over the headland with the stone circle west of the arched bridge.

Other than those birds there were lots of duck wherever there was open water but nothing you'd be surprised at.

Best wishes to everyone
