I have never seen any within the city limits but I have seen them in the Orangeville / Caledon area.  A friend of mine has 10 acres just outside of Orangeville and he has Wild Turkeys and Pheasants on his property.

Up just north of Barrie I've seen four groups, smallest was 15 birds, largerst over 50.  This is all in the past 10 days.

They're supposed to be a southern Ontario bird but seem to be spreading and flourishing northwards...but I have seen them at the nw corner of King St. and Mississauga Road -- I guess that 's Caledon...that's about as far south as I've seen them...I have tons on my property and have posted a picture but that's near Ayton ON

There are 15+ Turkeys at Cranberry Marsh..the first outlook you come to they are often right near the road. Ive heard some fine citizen has been trying to chase them a few concessions over so theyd be in an area where they could be hunted. Some peoples kids!!
