Hey there. Wondering what anyone could recommend for birding in the Barrie area. I know about Tiny Marsh and Tiffin Centre. Any suggestions?

If Kempenfelt Bay is not frozen over, it can be great for waterfowl.
A couple of years ago, we had a great November there with a Pomarine Jaeger, hundreds of Bonapartes and many Little Gulls, Commons Loons and one Brant.

Just east of Barrie, Minnesing could be worth exploring. Tiny Marsh is also associated with two other habitats (names and directions escape me) but info should be at Tiny M's visitor Ctr.

Good spotting! Never leave your bins at home.
