Per Rick Lauzon's directions posted on ONTBIRDS on Thursday Dec27, we went to Bowmanville to look for the birds reported in the orchards. We saw the Pine Grosbeaks feeding in the crab apple trees. The flock was very skittish probably because of the Kestrel and Peregrine Falcon hunting through the area. Thanks to the kind gentleman who let us look at the grosbeaks through his scope.

Here are Rick's directions:
Highway 401 exit 435 (Bennett Rd) is the quickest way from Toronto.  North
to Hwy 2, east to Bragg Rd, and north on Bragg Rd to Concession St E.
