Today, Terry Whittam, Betty McCulloch and I travelled down to Russeldale (south of Mitchell) in hopes of seeing the reported Blue Grosbeak. Unfortunately, that didn't happen! We did however enjoy a juvenile Golden Eagle which flew by and then circled up on a thermal in to the blue sky giving us some spectacular views.
