I don't have a lot of details on this but I thought I'd put it out there to the community. My son's principal is changing schools and the staff wanted to get him a bird print. I've only spoken with him a couple of times on the subject but I know he loves owls... and most of the time we've talked about barred owls.

So I was wondering where I might get prints like this or even photos. I don't know what they're looking to spend but I'll find that out tonight at the annual open house. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers

One thing I have lots of are owl photos. Boreal; great gray; snowy; saw-whet and barred. If you end up having issues finding what you want I would be willing to give you some for a one time use purpose with not payment necessary. The one time use is mainly due to my images be used in various magazines; websites; articles etc and I would like to retain copyright of them for that reason. My largest size is 3008 x 2000 which should be fine for a nicely framed print gift that you can get done just about anywhere these days. Here is a couple of samples of one that would look nice in a frame.

Paul,

Thank you so very much for your generous offer. My son's teacher took your offer to the committee and for some strange reason they're looking for a painting (print) as opposed to a photograph, even though all the teachers we talked to loved the photos and your offer.

Bizarre if you ask me... but it's not my call.

If you or anyone else know where they could get their hands on a painting (print) any help would be greatly appreciated. About the only person I can think of is Robert Bateman.

Thanks again Paul

Cheers

Your most welcome. Try http://fineartamerica.com/ I have dealt with then in the past and they have very good quality and online framing options. Shipping can be a little high due to weight, but good stuff for sure.
