Apparently the Salvia is doing fine, personally I think it looks a little spindly. I don't think last night's bombardment of hail did it much good either.
In the past 2 days I've counted 12 species of butterfly in the main gardens surrounding the 'dried-up' water fountain. The pump has been taken for maintenance. At present the dominant butterfly would be the Silver-spotted Skipper with at least 10 being seen. Other species are in the 1, 2, or 3 range.
