The Dunlin and Least sandiper were on the end of gull island closest to Owen point. Beach 2-3 have some sanderlings and plover as well.

A great series coupled with some nice finds. I have at least three lifers in the series - time to make another trip there one of the week-ends.

Thanks, I visited today (didn't venture out to Gull Island) and there was a good variety and numbers of shorebirds moving around (being chased away by a Merlin from time to time) at the Owen Point and the beach. Highlight was 2 Red Knots (possibly the same you saw on Gull Island) on the beach, a first for Ontario for me.
