Taken today in our area of Kingston. Dark lighting conditions but the snow helped a little on this shot. First Image was selected by Bird Watching Magazine Matt Mendenhall, Managing Editor as shot of the week.  Will be viewable on the web site on "Monday". They choose 4 total per month.

Saw one fly across the 404 near Buttonville Airport on Thursday Nov. 27. Tried to get a shot with my phone but no luck.

That first shot is great Paul.
Were you able to auto focus on the bird in all that snow or did you have to switch over to manual? Just curious, sometimes it's tough.
I have a lot of super sharp snowflakes in my portfolio

No time for manual normally in the field with these birds, just shot in P mode with single point focus and aim for the head.
