2 Snow Geese and 2 Blue-morphs as well as 3 Ross's Geese were amongst several hundred (1000?) Canadas, and Mallards (and one lone male Bufflehead) at Reesor Pond this morning. What a sight and the sound was fantastic with all the honking and quacking going on altho' it came to a quick halt when a Rough-legged hawk drifted over and made a few slow circles  before heading south. 2 Tree Sparrows came and went right near the parking area. 10+ Red-tailed hawks on the drive to and fro'.
Reesor Pond is on Reesor Road just N of the 401 in Markham. Some folks were there with scopes. I could see the Snow and Ross's with my binoculars but they are on the far side.

Reesor Pond is on Reesor Road, N of the 407, and just S of Highway 7, east of Jack Darling Parkway in Markham
There are wonderful photos of the geese at Reesor and at the pond in Bradford in the photo section of this board under Ontario Birds.
