hi

the subject line says it-- we're off to Kingston for the long weekend and wondered what you folks would recommend. We will try to stop in at Presq'ile on the way back, but around Kingston and local islands, what you recommend?

thanks

Julie

Hi Julie,

We are going there too.
The Wolfe Island, JTF where to go on the island and what time would be most productive for shooting?

A little out-of-season, but I love Kingston for SCUBA...

Just back in from Birding Wolfe island and kingston this afternoon with Gery
Binsfeld

Wolfe island highlights
2 Snowy owls( one pure white adult)
21 Rough-legged Hawks (8 dark), 3 American kestrels and 1 Red-tailed Hawk
43 Wild Turkeys
3 Ring-necked Pheasants
23 Horned larks

The roads are icy and lots of snow drifts from blowing snow. Actually 1 road
we were on early in the day has 3 foot snow drifts across it 2 hours later.

Kingston
ferry dock 2 American coots

Dupont pond at 5pm
1 Green-winged teal, 2 Northern Pintail, 1 Hooded merganser, and several
Gadwall and coots among the usual suspects.

If you make your way out there, please be careful - not looking like it's going to be the nicest of days.
